Create enduring partnerships among WA businesses to collectively increase and maintain veteran employment rates within the state through education and/or veteran transition events
Get employers on board, identify what tools and training are needed, how to connect to talent pool.
Better prepare transitioning service member and veterans to be better positioned for jobs.
a. Expand the NWE Plus Program to Pierce County, Kitsap, Spokane, and King CountyAuburn.
b. Complete private and public employer surveys to gather feedback, in order to facilitate veteran hiring workshops for hiring managers and HR practitioners during the Annual 2015 Veteran Transition Summit sponsored by the US Chamber of Commerce on JBLM.
