RE : Korean War Veterans Thanksgiving Ceremony
The Washington-Tacoma Korean American Association is hosting its memorial event on June 2 3, 2018.
I politely invite you to this event It would be an honor for you make time in your busy schedule and attend.
The ceremony was first celebrated 65 years ago as a result of the Korean War on June 25, 1950.
The damage to the United States of America was enormous, there were fatalities of 33,866 people, 3,737
missing and 4,439 prisoners of war. For65 years the suffering and sorrow of the families were c9mforted
by the recognition from the Korean people. The Republic of Korea has made remarkable developments
based on their sacrifice. Koreans have an opportunity to express their gratitude for the n oble sacrifice and
dedication of the veterans, commemorating the successful meaning of the Summit, and June 25, 2018.
It would be an honor for WATAKA to have you as one of our guests.

On this festive occasion, we will be serving Korean food and the Consul General will also be present. Also
in attendance will be, US Army 1st Corps, Veterans, and many social leaders. More than 300 Korean
Americans and other residents from the Puget Sound area will be in attendance as well.
