Grays Harbor County: The Governor’s Veterans Affairs Advisory Committee will be holding a Veterans Town Hall on Thursday, October 19 from 10:00 am – noon at the Pearsall Building, 2109 Sumner Avenue, Aberdeen, WA 98520.
Community partners and service providers will be sharing how they are serving Veterans and their families from the area.
During the VAAC Town Hall, two Korean War Marine Corps Veterans will have Purple Hearts, awarded during the Korean War, presented to them during the beginning of this meeting.

The VAAC – under the leadership of 2016/17 Chair Charles Wharton– is composed of 17 members and advises the Governor and the director of the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA) on issues and programs concerning veterans.
