Mark R. Hoagland, MA, LMHC, CHT

Mark’s work experience includes working for over 8 years at the King County Crisis Clinic as Supervisor, Crisis Intervention Specialist, Trainer and Group Facilitator. He is current the team leader at the Everett Vet Center leading a team of therapists who work with Veterans who deal with war trauma and/or military sexual trauma. He earned BA degrees in both Psychology and International Economics from the University of Washington. After working in international trade for 10 years, he returned to school and earned his Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University. Mark’s experience as a therapist includes working with crisis management, trauma, PTSD, complicated grief, suicide, MST, veteran issues and couples counseling. For 7 years he was the facilitator of the King County Survivors of Suicide grief group working with people who have had a loved one complete suicide. Mark’s military service included tours in Japan and Korea in the U.S. Army.
