A Call For Training Proposals | Veterans Training Support System

Greetings!

Do you have a training(s) that you think would advance the understanding of veterans and their families?

Are you a clinician that has curriculum that you feel your colleagues would benefit from learning?

Are you in the field of directly supporting veterans in their transition from the military to civilian life?

If yes to any of the above questions, we want to hear from you!

VTSC has three training categories that we are currently seeking training proposals for:

  1. Continuing Education: These are trainings that are focused on behavioral health professionals. These trainings will be reviewed by our Continuing Education Review Board, ensuring that they meet the American Psychological Association standards.
  2. Specialty Trainings: These trainings advance the understanding of veterans and their families, but aren't focused on behavioral topics/interventions. These trainings can be anything from justice involved veterans, to minority veteran populations, to diversity, equity, and inclusion topics.
  3. Veteran Focused Trainings: These trainings are focused on directly supporting the veteran, the transitioning service member, and/or their families. The topics can range from benefit usage, moral injury, career development, resume building, etc.
