Introducing Connie O’Brien-Larsen (center), the Region 2 Suicide Prevention Peer Specialist for the WDVA. She is the spouse of a Native American Vietnam Veteran, US Army Ret. She spent three years serving in Vet Corps on campus and one year as a Regional Coordinator for Vet Corps. She is dedicated to the SMVF community and has a strong desire to serve. Working through her own lived experiences with veterans, active-duty service members, and their families, Connie is committed to provide training and resources by collaboration with community organizations to enhance our mission of improving self-efficacy, hope, and reducing suicide.
