Roberto Valdez was born and raised in the Yakima Lower Valley. He attended the University of Washington, Heritage College, and Capella University attaining a doctoral degree in family and clinical psychology. He is a licensed mental health counselor and holds several national mental health certifications. Roberto enjoys attending continuing education training in the areas of trauma and mood disorders. Roberto speaks Spanish and English and has over 27-years of experience in the helping professions. He currently works cohesively with Veterans and their family members since 2007 in the Benton, Franklin, and surrounding counties. Roberto is a father of three children, enjoys the outdoors, spending time with family members, and is an avid fisherman. For the past 15-years, serving those who served is a passion!
