Donald Seese

Don Seese is the Region 2 Suicide Prevention Peer Specialist. He obtained his Bachelor of Social Work from Saint Martin’s University in 2022 with a concentration in Trauma and Substance Use Disorder, and his Master of Social Work from Columbia University in 2023 with a focus on Veteran, children and Prolong Grief Disorder. Before pursuing a career in social work, Don served in the Army as a Cavalry Scout from 2007-2018 with multiple overseas deployments. In addition to serving the public through his military service, Don worked as a Victim Advocate for the Thurston County Prosecutor’s Office providing crisis interventions, needs assessments and developed a scholarship program to help support juvenile victims. Don hopes that his combined education and lived experiences will enable him to help support fellow veterans, their families and the communities that they live in to make life after service meaningful and enjoyable.
