The Stand Down for Whatcom County Veterans will be the first Stand Down in Whatcom County in some quite some time. Opportunity Council is partnering with American Legion Post #7 and our HUDVASH to host a Stand Down for out local Veterans. We will have VA and local resources available. Services that will be provided at our event include: healthcare (local, and VA), mental health, employment/education, VA Benefits, local non-profits, legal, and more.
