Lummi Nation 79th Annual Stommish Water Festival

The members of the John H. Kittles American Legion Lummi Post No. 33 are pleased to invite you to our fun-filled, 79th Annual (Lummi Nation) Stommish Water Festival scheduled for June 20th through the 22nd, 2025. This event began circa 1946, when the Lummi Veterans of WW I hosted a “Welcome Home Ceremony” for the WW II Veterans returning home from the war. The event has since grown to include ALL Veterans from every branch, including foreign representatives from all over the globe, to join us and be recognized and honored for their service.
The festival begins on the 20th with a “Warrior’s Parade” on Saturday the 21st, around 11:00 am or low tide. We invite ALL Veterans to participate in the parade that concludes with each Veteran introducing themselves (name, branch of service, where they’re from, etc), and receiving a welcome home gift from the Lummi Veterans.
Lunch will be provided for Veterans (FREE), and there will be a carnival for the kiddos. Lots of vendors on hand to sell everything from food and drinks to clothing, crafts, music, and artworks.
