Much of the site work continues to focus on the removal of dirt and other items currently in the path of the construction project, and the delivery of construction utilities that will allows the crews to accomplish their work.
During the first few weeks of September, the following work will take place:
Water main installation.
Laying electrical lines across Wainwright Ave and setting electrical stub ups for the first few neighborhoods.
Laying telephone lines.
Delivery of the construction crane.
WDVA is working closely with our partners at the Department of Enterprise Services and Absher Construction to place a camera on the site allowing the public to get a birds-eye view of the construction process.
