Island County:  The Governor’s Veterans Affairs Advisory Committee will hold a Veterans Town Hall on Thursday, February 18 from 10:00 am – noon at the VFW Post #7392 located at 3037 N. Goldie Road in Oak Harbor, WA.

Community partners and service providers will be sharing how they are serving Veterans and their families from the area.

The VAAC – under the leadership of 2015/16 Chair Don Schack– is composed of 17 members and advises the Governor and the director of the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA) on issues and programs concerning veterans.

Washington State Military Veterans and their families are encouraged to attend the Governor’s Affairs Advisory Committee’s Town hall meeting to be held Thursday, February 18 from 10 am to noon at VFW Post #7392 located at 3037 N. Goldie Road in Oak Harbor.

Community partners and service providers will be sharing how they are serving Veterans and their families in your area and will be available to answer questions about the benefits you may have earned while serving in the United States Military.
