LMHC, DVC, CBT, Trauma Informed Care | Rebecca earned a Master of Arts with an emphasis in Marriage & Family Therapy from Brandman University. She has been designated a Mental Health Professional with a specialization in Child Mental Health by the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS). She has been in private practice since 2019 which has involved a focus on serving those that have served and their family members. Her main areas of focus include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, anger management, the grief process, parenting, and working with survivors of all forms of trauma including witnessing or experiencing trauma, abuse, moral injury, and traumas that occurred during military service. Outside of private practice, she worked as a therapist in a community-based, group practice setting for approximately four years. This experience included being designated by DSHS as a Domestic Violence Counselor Supervisor which involved treatment of perpetrators and survivors of Domestic Violence. During this experience, she worked collaboratively with clients that were court ordered for assessment and/or treatment, military veterans, reserve and active-duty military, and parents and children involved with the Department of Children, Youth, and Family (DCYF). She believes that therapy is a collaborative process and guides clients to increase self-awareness, gain new perspectives, decrease symptoms, and increase personal strengths to have a more meaningful life experience. She works to provide clients with tailored treatment plans that can be integrated into their daily lives. Rebecca uses an eclectic mix of evidence-based treatment modalities to meet each client's unique needs that include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) including Trauma-Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness strategies, Solution-Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, and is currently working on her certifications for Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy. |

Deb got her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pacific Lutheran University, with a BA in Psychology from the University of Puget Sound.
