Tom Hove

Tom Hove is the training manager for the Veterans Training Support Center, within the Washington Department of Veterans Affairs. He received his Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California, with a degree focus of supporting the military and veteran community.  While attending Seattle University, during his undergrad, he was involved in varying areas of student program development, which lead to the development of The Outreach Center, serving student-veterans and first-generation colleges students, as was well is responsible for the creation of the Veteran & Military Alumni Chapter at Seattle University. Tom is formerly a VASH case manager where he worked with homeless veterans and their families to coordinate and monitor successful community living. He served as a social work intern for VA Puget Sound Health Care System’s Homeless Patient Aligned Care Team to provide direct services to homeless adult and geriatric veterans. Tom served in the US Navy as a hospital corpsman and is originally from Montana. He currently lives in SeaTac with his husband and two kids.
