Tom Hove

Tom Hove, MSW, is now the interim training manager for the Veterans Training Support Center and is familiar with the WDVA in his role as Vet Corps Regional Coordinator for King County and formerly as a Vet Corps member at Seattle University (SU). While at SU Tom created a curriculum on military culture which was delivered to faculty, staff, administration and students. He was involved in varying areas of student program development and was responsible for the creation of the Veteran Alumni Association. Tom was formerly a VASH case manager where he worked with homeless veterans and their families to coordinate and monitor successful community living. He served as a social work intern for VA Puget Sound Health Care System’s Homeless Patient Aligned Care Team to provide direct services to homeless adult and geriatric veterans. Tom served in the US Navy as a hospital corpsman and is originally from Montana and currently lives in SeaTac with his husband, and two toddlers
